WENDY was abandoned alongside the dog we believe to be her sister, GABBY. They were roaming the fields between Torredondo, Zamarramala, and Valverde; initially, we thought there was only one abandoned Galgo, but after wonderful volunteers helped us catch GABBY, WENDY appeared a few days later, and we were able to rescue her as well. They are both wonderful dogs; WENDY has settled in sooner and is super affectionate, while GABBY still needs a little more time to build trust. Come and meet them—Galgos, like cats, are best in pairs ;-)
