This beautiful mastiff, about 5 years old, was abandoned alone in the middle of nowhere, where she had no chance of surviving without food. Even so, it took us several weeks to rescue her, as she was very scared and didn't trust anyone. Finally, hunger won, and we were able to bring her to safety. She arrived cachectic. The poor thing has had to endure it all... But if you come meet her, you'll see the change in her face and attitude. Over time, she's discovered that not all people are horrible and we can give love too. Now she needs a home where she can be happy and where she'll be loved as part of the family, not as just another piece of furniture.
