Her story is one of neglect and abandonment. Neighbors in a building alerted us about a cat in horrible condition. Thinking of some poor, sick cat in a neighborhood, we went to try to help her. We were extremely surprised to see how she was feeling and how she was doing. She had a lot of pus in both eyes, she couldn't breathe through her nose due to the mucus, and she had a wound on her chin from which dozens of worm larvae emerged and were eating her alive. This poor kitten must have suffered a fall from a balcony or window some time ago (parachute cat syndrome), given the wounds on her jaw and palate, which have now almost healed, but evidently no one came looking for her... After going to the vet, she's almost 100% physically recovered; now she needs to deal with the most difficult wounds to heal: those of her soul. She looks about 5 years old, and we'd like her to have the life she deserves in a home once she recovers, rather than becoming invisible in a shelter room. Can we work a miracle?
