We took Lorenzo inside a garge. He was still, curled up with his head pressed to the ground. He was only skin and bones, he was complete dehydrated. We went by urgency to the vet and we thought the worst.
At first we thought that he was a street cat, but when we started to touch him we could see that he started to purr and ask for caresses. We saw that he was castrate, then, everything makes to think that he is a abandoned cat, probably for this he was in this state of health, because he can't know adapt to the life in street.
He was hospitalised one week and with treatment for a month, at first he couldn't walk well and lost the balance. We thought that he received a blow to the head.
With the days, we saw a strange behaviour, as soon he is asking for caresses and purr like attacks you and bites you. To know what happends, we went to a specialist in Madrid of neurology, and there told us there isn't any neurological, it was a conduct problem.
We ask a ethologist and he told us that the Lorenzo's problem is that he had bad education for the family that after abandoned him.
When you have a kitten, you have to play them with toys, if you play with them with your hands, it can be derived on behaviours like Lorenzo, he things that you are playing with him and he has to 'hunt' our hands.
Right now we are re-educated him and we are sure that in a few months he will be a normal cat and completely cuddly.
